In a relationship with an amazing woman who has 2 twin daughters that have been in the program for a year now.

Over 20 years of coaching experience. Been with Evo going on 9 years.

Over the past 9 years I’ve had the luxury of coaching my family and alot of their friends. But the most gratifying part of all of this is watching them grow to become amazing young men and women. What we do here is more than basketball, it’s a family!

Andrea and her wife Jen and I live in Melrose with two daughters. Cailin and Claire LOVE playing ball for EVO. EVO’s family environment and commitment to teamwork, hardwork and loyalty ring true with Razi-Thomas family values.

Andrea has been with EVO since 2020. She’s recently been promoted to Girls Director/Family Ambassador within our program. Andrea has coached Division 3 college teams and local youth basketball teams since 1996. She loves to share her passion for basketball and proudly identifies as a gym rat and basketball lover and fan! Most recently she has coached youth and middle school hoops in Melrose. In addition, Andrea has assisted in coaching swimming with the Malden Crocs at the Malden YMCA. Andrea has a Masters in Exercise in Sports Studies from Smith College with a focus on coaching and sports leadership, but also holds a Masters in Social Work. When not coaching, Andrea works as a Social Worker at Arlington High School. Her combination of clinical knowledge and skill set around youth development matches perfectly with her love of basketball. Together we’ve got an experienced parent, social worker and hoop junkie, who knows her x’s and o’s and loves to coach!

Andrea grew up in suburban metro New York where she was an All-State, All-Regional and All-Section point guard, graduating from Eastchester High School in 1992. Her teams won championships in basketball, volleyball and softball. She was also an award winning setter in volleyball and shortstop in softball. Andrea played AAU year round and Empire State games basketball throughout summers while in high school. Finally, Andrea was a 4-year starting point guard for the Division 1 Princeton University Tigers. She still holds the Career Assist Record for both the women’s and men’s programs at Princeton.

Andrea is a self-professed basketball lover. She thinks about the game all day and is committed to helping your daughter grow into a multifaceted young woman with strong moral character. She cherishes the special role coaches play in the lives of young people and challenges her players to combine having run with working hard, en route to using basketball as a tool to learn skills that lead to happiness and reaching personal goals throughout life. She emphasize team before I on the court and teaches the fundamentals of the game to all players.

I am married and have a son Jaxon. We moved to Burlington approximately five years ago from Waltham. My wife and I are both public school educators. We love to travel and enjoy outdoor activities. We are big into sports football and basketball. Church is very important to us.

I have coaching experience at the youth, middle school, and high school levels and this is my third year with Evolution.

I am a very passionate and defensive minded coach. I believe in working together as one unit. I set the bar high for my players while making it a fun environment to learn. I am extremely consistent and a huge believer of repetition.

I currently reside in Wakefield, MA with my wife and two daughters, Quin (EVO 2027) and Avery.

My current basketball involvement includes being the Vice President of the Wakefield Basketball Association and the Director of the Wakefield Travel Basketball Program. I have also been coaching Quin’s travel team the past five seasons. I’ve been in and around basketball my entire life; playing, coaching, and refereeing at various levels.

Coaching teams that love to run, have fun and are powered by positive attitude and a gritty, hard work ethic.

Grew up playing basketball every day with my older brother. My parents, grandparents and family / friends always supported me in my athletic journey. I now live with my fiancée and 19 week old puppy named Pino.

Communicating and listening are the two keys to success as a team.
